"WAR HORSE"

Another frigid day. We were driving home from appointments and what did we see
Huntington's "WAR HORSE". We spotted "Joey" - I shouted BLIP - (good thing I always carry my little camera) -quickly opened the window and took this shot before the drivers got impatient. There was no where to pull over or get out of the car.

We have seen "War Horse"on Broadway and also have seen the movie. It is an emotional drama that tugs at the heartstrings - inspiring both tears and laughter. Both were spectacular! (If you haven't seen it --you must do so)

We were so surprised to see that this sculpture looks so much like "JOEY". It is a wonderful iron sculpture!

However there was no sign or explanation as to who the artist was ?- Who installed the sculpture? - Why?- Why was is located along the road and not in a park? I'll have to do some investigating and try to find out . . .
