Done!

My latest and hopefully last web project.. Done!

Over a year working on a upgrade to a site I originally made in 2008...
Sweat
Tears
Setbacks
Learning curves
Successes
Failures
Frustration
Satisfaction
Stress
Despair.....

But its done - its a crap image of the site on my tablet but the blurriness catches the state of my mind and eyes right now. It was a mostly voluntary project that started as a small idea but mushroomed as it developed and the site became heavily used.

It's been good to see the WWOOF venture take off in Ireland and to have been a key part of that.

It was worthwhile but has tested my ability to the max and it has made me painfully aware that age does take its toll on one's faculties.

It has brought the realization that web technology has changed and projects like this are hardly practicable for one person, the skills, knowledge and complexity are so extensive and constantly evolving.

There will still be some snagging to be done but it's basically complete!

Herself still not too good but forcing down the 7up (doctor's orders) and starting to complain of boredom, probably a good sign!
