Wettenhovi has taught for 30 years people of all ages at the Adult Education Centre of the City of Helsinki. During that time thousands of eager amateur photographers have learned from him the basics of the technique and expression of photography. Many of them have continued their studies at photography schools and become professionals. Some of them even Artist
photographers.
The Female Pike by Esko Männikkö is H-P:´s favourite book. Esko is one of the most famous Finnish photographers in the world. He won in 2008 the very big Deutsce Börse award. I, too, think, that "The Female Pike (1993) is still his best book.
Hannu-Pekka himself is still very eager amateur photographer and today I tried to lure him into Blipfoto.
