Kilchurn Castle

My blip friend Snapper and I set off fairly early to take some photos at Kilchurn Castle in Loch Awe. It didn't look promising and as we arrived the skies darkened and it rained a little.

However out luck was in and after a few minutes we got lovely light and a little blue sky. I chose this as the shot I liked best because it shows the castle in it's setting and with the blue sky. Another stop on the way home to photograph an amazing secret waterfall where the salmon often jump but today was thundering with the amount of water in it. Don't ask where it is because I may have to kill you if you found out. Blip opportunities for another day.

Snow and hail on the way home and it now looks very white out there so I'm glad to be inside with the fire and the wine.
