almost there

I'll be glad when the weekend arrives.

Today took me over to Edinburgh for my fortnightly lunchtime meeting. The sun came out just after my train left Kirkcaldy. Great, after many grey, wet days.

I picked up an espresso at Waverley Station and paused to drink it at the station exit - really just to enjoy the sunny moment.

I looked up and - as so often happens in Edinburgh - liked what I saw. A monument and some kind of castle-like structure behind the gallery. That's Calton Hill up there - never been, so don't know what I was snapping!
