Three large rooks appeared in the garden and all the birds made a hasty retreat with the exception of this one blackbird. He stayed in the tree with the protection of the branches until the rooks decide to leave and then went down for a feed.

First time I have really noticed the bright orange ring (like his beak) around the eye.
