Fungi

I've been terrible about taking a camera out with me. Too dark, too grey, too uninspired. The woods by the river have been riven by constant flooding, the sandy paths obscured and made strange. I fear for the snowdrops as the soil must be feet above the tiny bulbs. This is the bleakest time of the year. It's all I can do to keep my head above water. This fungi the only thing of colour in the monochrome woods.
