Between you - me - and the gatepost - Thursday is the only day I have a cooked breakfast.

This takes the form of a hot pork pie - from the local butcher - eaten on the way home after the walk.

Walked in pouring rain this morning - the weather forecast predicted the rain would stop around 8am - it just get heavier.

Definitely not the conditions to eat a hot pork pie in - but at least I know my waterproof coat really is waterproof
