Drama on the horizon

Since I took this shot a couple of hours ago that black cloud has spread out and is currently chucking yet more rain down on us.

Wish me luck for later - I've got to try and muster up some acting skills to rescue Ed from an awkward meeting. The plan is that I rush in after approx. 20 minutes and tell her that I need her urgently as something disastrous has occurred!
There are several problems with this plan, mainly because my acting skills are nil and I'm slightly concerned that we may tempt fate and something terrible will actually happen....

Fingers crossed that by the end of the day we will be laughing about it.

Update 11.06am - Bugger!!!! the lady in the meeting is a bloody actress herself... I'm really nervous now - it's all going to go horribly wrong

Update 11.53am - RESULT! She's just left, thanks to my rather understated performance i.e suddenly appearing in the doorway 15 mins later than planned, looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights
worried and fluffing my lines spouting out frantic rubbish.

And I think I might have missed out on the Oscar nominations for this year.

I need a stiff drink and a lie down now....
