'Brighton Beach Sunrise'

Definitely worth a look LARGE.

A really early start today. Up at 3:45am, out of the house by 4:15am and made it down to Brighton Beach by around 5:20am just as first light was showing up.

Had a brilliant morning shoot there with the Canon Collective group, the ambassador Erin from Canon bought down a big swag of Canon lenses for anyone who wanted to try them out. This shot was taken with the fisheye 8-15mm lens. Also had a shot with the new 100-400mm lens but it was just too big and heavy on my tripod, especially in the soft sand taking long exposures. Also tried out the F2.8 70-200mm which is a really nice lens.

Took just over 200 shots in an hour and a half. The morning was totally clear and no wind to speak of, might have been a bit more colour in the sky if it were a bit cloudy though.

I will definitely go to more of these events.
