Appreciation

Had a visitor this morning who chose to sit on my phone parked in the only spot that gets reception, the window sill. From past experience these guys have no trouble finding their way out and the door was open. He was interested in the window so I opened it, I have a rule that forbids photographing a wild critter who's come inside unless his exit is clear, the window is 50 cm to camera left. He waited for me to fetch the camera, settings right, change lens, turn some lights on as it was quite dark, then posed for half a dozen shots, said something to me in fantail squeek and out the window. It felt like someone was saying thankyou.
