Let's do a 365.

Happy New Year and so on and so forth.

New Year represents an easily digestible yearly benchmark. A time to evaluate the year's accomplishments and failures, to plan a way forward. Hence "New Year's Resolutions".

Ultimately though, it's just one of 365(.25?) similar peers. Anyone can make any change to their life any time they choose. Many people choose this day, with it's benchmark quality. But that quality won't help them succeed: often people fail to keep their New Year resolutions.

I believe the key to any resolution, NY or otherwise is having a clear, predefined goal and sticking to it. Broad goals are fine in other contexts, but when you're trying to do something specific, breadth is your enemy. "Lose weight" is vague, shed 2kg is more specific and therefore better, etc.
So, one of my main goals this years is to blip for 365 consecutive days. Oh, and having people to help is useful to, so I'm glad that I have friends like Kat who are up for the challenge too. Here we go!

PS - Photo is of a film camera I've added to my photographic fleet. Needs a little tinkering to get back into service, but will be exciting to try to some film stuff now and then.
