Not quite as productive a day as yesterday but still managed to get quite a bit done. I had piles of clothes to put away due to being up to date with the washing so that prompted a full drawer clean out in their room. I now have an absolute mound for the charity shop plus several smaller piles for other people.

Meanwhile the small monsters (I mean, children) had pulled out all manner of things everywhere and so I had to tidy that up before lunch. Consequently we were a bit late in leaving again and a tiny bit late for nursery (again).

Isaac napped for a little while once we got back and I chased my tail a bit, I didn't really have a plan so flitted from job to job. He was quite clingy when he woke so we read some books and played together for the rest of the time.

We took Amelie's scooter with us to pick her up and she scooted home. Just as well really because she was desperate for a wee!

Chris was working late again so I did an early dinner for them and prepped ours. After Isaac was down Amelie asked me to trim her fringe. I obliged and she was very happy with it. She have me a huge hug and said "I love you Mummy" so I can't have made too bad a job! Spontaneous declarations of love are absolutely the best. Especially when she is such a Daddy's girl!

It's late now because we just finished the last ever episode of Dexter...I'm so sad it's finished!
