Thursday night out at the Empire

Here are Nic and Ju, we went out to Shepherds Bush Empire to see the Felice Brothers. The three of us used to go and see bands in London together as long as 23 years ago!!! We must be getting old as Ju actually liked the Felice Brothers. In the olden days he would've hated them and taken the p out of us liking 'widdly, diddly, fiddly' music.

It was a good gig, the Felice Brothers are often compared to Dylan, I'd say they're a mix of The Water boys, Tom Waits and Dylan with a tiny bit of a modern sound added.

Of course we were just down the road from the BBC - lots of helicopters and sirens. Saw this interesting fact today from a colleague ( Joss Winn ) : Fewer people voted for BNP in last EU election than in 2004, but % of votes won by BNP was higher (8%) - #politics + #indifference = #fail
