Abandoned Quarry

Though Venlaw Quarry is not far from my home, it is well-hidden and I had never been there, but found it whilst poking about on a local map. What struck me on exploring it was how tall and straight - well, nearly straight - the birches and other specimens were that were stretching to reach the daylight above the quarry lip.
