Kitchen Re-Modelling
Ok, ok, apologies to the blip purists.
Today's effort is a photo, but it's a shot of a graphic created by a nifty piece of software that 'designs' kitchens.
What you see above is a pretty good representation of our wee galley style food prep area furnished with what can only be described as expensive units.
Who knew that flat pack glossy cupboards (with soft closing hinges, no less) cost the same as the annual gross GDP of a small Balkan nation ?
Honestly, I'm in the wrong game. Seriously.
One trick as a salesman that I learned many moons ago is not to have a fancy car as a company vehicle.
When trying to create a sale, rolling up to a customer in a Jaguar XF with a personal number plate just gives out the wrong vibes to potential customers.
My recent experience of builders/roofers/roughcasters and now kitchen specialists tells me that the world has gone mad.
So far I've had two BMW 6 series, one Lexus ISC (a seriously cool motor vehicle), two E Class Mercs and today it was a Porche.
Really?
Believe it or not, all of the above classic car lovers had the most expensive quotes using cheap material.
Anyhoo, the software is great! And the search continues ......
In other news, we've settled on a contractor for new roughcast. He didn't turn up in a Rolls, btw.

Work begins next month.
