One lonely sheep around the bend
Yet another lunchtime Blip.
Today I was trying out black and white photography (or "mono" as we experts(cough cough) call it).
This is taken from Bearley Station (unmanned) looking in the direction of Leamington Spa. The poor sheep looks very lonely but I'm sure there were more lurking behind the hedge, ready to pounce on unsuspecting foxes. Maybe he/she is a lure.
If the tracks for Alcester Railway hadn't been removed in the 1960's I would have been able to travel here from my back door, along that line.
However if Alcester Railways had still been in operation, we wouldn't be living in our house as it would have been a railway station, so I suppose it is all "ifs and buts".
