Shoal Hill Sunset (For a change)

Drove back from Stafford mindful of the setting sun. I finally found somewhere to stop and tried to find a scene worth capturing. I almost goave up then the sun peaked from underneath the cloud for a fleeting period.

Technical: 3 Stop ND Grad to control sky. Even then the ground was very dark but was recovered using the shadow slider in Lightroom.

Update: After a helpful critique from Chameleo I have slightly adjusted the recovery of the ground exposure. I really appreciate constructive criticism of my images, so don't be afraid to say if you have a view on them.
