The path of power

You may be wondering where my blip was yesterday. We had a minor drama after Mrs M had gone to see her doctor for a routine check following the nasty chest infection before Christmas

I was sat doing my blip when Mrs M rang to say the Dr wanted her to go to the hospital in Exeter (25 miles away) to have a special blood test for a blood clot on the lung. I collected her and we drove straight there where she had the test on our arrival and we spent the rest of the morning and afternoon having other test and waiting for results before getting the all clear at about 4.30pm. Although a bit of a shock and a 50 mile round trip we weren't expecting we cant speak to highly of the care and attention we received from the staff. It was first class.

Arriving home tired and hungry we opted for fish & chips from the local chippy before I had to go out to my Photo Club meeting. We slept well last night!


Up and onwards today, walking the dog and shopping and having our drains unblocked, just routine!!!

The Vale was covered in thick mist this morning and all that was showing was the tops of the trees and these pylons that carry the national grid to out little part of England. As they say, "A change is as good as a rest"
