Bangkok shutdown day 10

It seems difficult to be living in a city, which has been living through some political turmoils without mentioning it from time to time. Today is the first day of the proclaimed state of emergency. It is also the 10th day of the so called 'Bangkok shutdown'.
This shot was taken this afternoon at the crossroads of Sukhumvit & Ratchadapisek. This is one of the strategic location for the protesters ('the yellow shirts').
It does not change my daily life as things go on normally everywhere. I just wanted to report what was going on in our city. I hope that the hatred that seems to come out of the politicians won't affect Thailand because it remains such a lovely country to be in.
