The Tip

This load was the result of yesterdays hedge cutting. The tip was lined out with cones, I thought it must be closed. The cones mark a 2m gap from the skips so that you cannot actually back up directly to the skip to unload, this is to allow people to walk behind your vehicle and give you the extra toil to drag your rubbish into the skip.
This is all due to Health and Safety regulations!
I said that while I was the only person at the site, perhaps I could back up to the skip to speed up proceedings and save my back as well as reducing the mess that parking so far away was going to cause. Silly me! The supervisor gave me a team to help unload (including her). It turned out very well, and they insisted on brushing up after me, saving me another job.
