Forty Sheds of Grey...

The Oban Library bus has a new book on board and the locals of Port Appin have heard all about it! The shed culture in Port Appin is vibrant and the village opinion formers, twitters and socialites all want to be the first to be offended and spread their interpretation of the content.

Queues had formed by mid-morning in the hope of being the first to bag the book. Scuffles broke out as an opposing queue formed behind a lady who was just waiting to use the phone box.

Sales of Dulux have gone through the roof.

The Dull Bull at Ardrishaig has been renamed the Grey Bull and is doing special room rates for couples. (Ask for the 'Some Sex' rate). Though what that has to do with sheds frankly defeats me. Ed.

There has been a spate of shed buying at Buy and Queue in Oban.

PLEASE NOTE This Port Appin is a totally fictitious location as are all the people/places mentioned therein. It is a series of dioramas in a scale of 4mm - 1 foot designed to display my model transport collection.

As they say in the cinema,"All characters and locations appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons or similarly named locations, living or dead, is purely coincidental".
