The dream horse

I always find it startling how sounds travel so clearly in the mist.

The loud thundering of the hooves of this horse was heavy on me before the horse was even visible. The direction of the sound was unclear and the horse, out of the mist was suddenly close and moving fast.

It's rather disorientating.

And leaves you a little breathless.
