The Stand-In

Today is National Squirrel Appreciation Day, a day we celebrated with gusto last year, and squirrels. This year the squirrels slept in late so I didn't see any before I went to work and they were all back in bed when I got home. So, here we have a little staged celebration with a stand-in squirrel, the requisite nuts and some greenery for effect. I don't think the squirrels would mind since they're pretty sure every day is Squirrel Appreciation Day, and they may be right.
