Elephant
There were no seats left in the cafe at the Citizens Theatre so we sat on the floor, waiting for Jack to be called for his drama class. As I got up, I dashed my skull on the metal trunk and almost blacked out before swearing a little too loudly.
That evening I was in the kitchen chopping vegetables. Jack walked in and presented me with a shell he'd found on the window sill and decorated with sticky coloured circles. 'I hope your head's OK now,' he said.
