Cold!

I was struck by the low, dark cloud bank that appeared as if it had been frozen in place. (Those are not hills, but clouds on the horizon). Temperatures were below -20C on the train platform this morning. Brrrrrrr! Thank goodness for my warm red parka.

Daughter R has a stomach bug of some sorts, and was disappointed to miss her volleyball game this afternoon. From the tone of her texts begging to eat things that are not on the recommended BRAT diet, I think she is recovering. I am off to a Board meeting this evening and expect R and C may not be awake when I get in.
