Shaded Ponies

I was walking the dog in a small village in Bedfordshire whilst visiting family and followed the road to farm fields out back.
The farm allowed dog walkers through so I continued the walk.
I saw horses ahead in the fields then I looked to my right and under the tree was a pair of ponies hiding form the sun. It was particularly hot that day the shade gave them some relief from the burning light and gave me a very cool shadow image. So I stopped and took the shot.
