MAB: Mutually Agreed Blip

I was persuaded to have my photo taken by a fellow blipper RogMull today, and in return I asked him to let me blip him too, so here's the result.

(I really don't like getting my photo taken; I'm sure I'm not the only Blipper to prefer being behind the lens.)

It was a very busy day today, one of these days when I am so glad that I work for SIE.
The reason that I was meeting Roger was that SIE are launching a new Young Innovators Challenge, which is open for college students as well as the university students we usually work for. Roger knows the college sector very well, and has very kindly offered to help raise awareness of the Challenge. His fee was a blip!

The Challenge we are setting is to come up with ideas to tackle some of the big issues that affect our society; heath, sustainable energy and infrastructure. The best 150 ideas will get a cash prize and invited to a residential weekend where we will help them develop their ideas. In the next round, the best 25 will get up to £2,500 and support over the summer to see how far they can advance their idea, and perhaps even consider starting a business. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with. After all, its not every day you are offered a chance to change the world!

Returning to the office, I found a film crew and a couple of actors setting up. They were filming a new scenario for one of our Ideas Labs.

A little later, I met up with a young entrepreneur who was asking for some feedback for his new business.

All in a day's work...
