Chilly nightfall

Noticeably colder tonight- a real January evening in Scotland's capital city. As I came home I saw several people sitting on the cold pavement on blankets.

Who are they and how did end up on the streets ?

Young and old they must each have a story, each belong to someone somewhere who cares. I hope so anyway.
