Bathtime

Big boy completely cleared his plate at tea time! This doesn't happen often :) He's a big fan of stew and dumplings, which is great as we get to put lots of veg in there which he is normally quite fussy about. He enjoys making the dumplings too with Daddy.

In other news, I gave all the money in my purse today to a homeless man on Oxford Road (it wasn't much, under a tenner). I don't know what it was about him but his presence really affected me. I watched as what felt like hundreds of people walked by him and ignored his pleas for help. Some didn't even seem to notice he was there. He was shivvering and looked frozen and dreadfully sad. I can't even imagine what led him to being there, but anyway, he had a 2p coin and 2 pennies in his cup and it broke my heart a little. I don't think I will forget the look in his eyes when i turned back and stopped to talk to him and give him some money. He was so grateful, it choked me up and made me feel a bit more helpless if anything. Whoever he was and wherever he's gone, I hope he used it to buy a hot meal and that the message he took home from today was that somebody cared....

Anyway, i digress...
Off to London tomorrow for the day with work. Long day ahead. I have to be on a train at 6am. Ugh.
