Can't compute

Today has been dominated by computer-related woes. My laptop appears to be on the brink of a break-down.

There was a time when I didn't mind spending hours fixing PC problems, but now my interests have moved on and I can't help but feel today has been wasted. But at least I have come up with a solution that I hope will solve the problem.

It's odd how the things that were supposed make our lives simpler in reality make them infinitely more complex.
