Happiness is ......

My favourite ( ok maybe 2nd favourite) room in our house is the kitchen ! To anybody who has ever been in it , this statement may be met with complete disbelief as it's also one of the smallest rooms - ever !
Despite it's size , I love being in it . I find cooking relaxing and therapeutic and there is nothing I love more than cooking up meals in big batches , to feed us for the remainder of the week.
There is nothing nicer than amazing aromas creeping from the kitchen , filling the house and making your mouth water , especially as the rest of the week is too hectic to cook and the thought of a ready meal turns my stomach !
Tonight's treat was honey and soy glazed pork with stir fry veg and I've also got a beef goulash slowly braising in the oven ( both low fat for those of you who will be reminding me I'm dieting ). The pork was delicious - the goulash looks amazing - happy days !
