The school run

...by pony!

One pupil and his mum turned up to daughter's school today on horseback. You don't see that every day! Well I don't anyway so I asked for a quick pic just as mum was about to set off home. What a lovely way to travel and I suspect the CO2 emissions are pretty low.

But I was so busy admiring the ponies I forgot to ask for this one's name.

I was very glad of this surprise as my work days don't lend themselves very easily to getting a blip (or is that just a lack of imagination?).

I'd posted yesterday's early and then had the excitement of chasing around after a neighbours two dogs who had managed to escape into my garden. They weren't having any of it though and managed to jump quite a high fence into next door. He was out, so the owner had to do some fence climbing of his own in the end, which would ordinarily have been pretty blip-worthy!
