Oops...
This wasn't my intended blip, but in true Heckscher fashion I managed to turn what should have been a simple matter of my garlic capsules into a disastrous comedy of errors. For those of you unfamiliar with gel-capsules, they have a tendency to stick to the bottle in a clump, so I tend to shake the bottle a little to loosen them. Fine and dandy, but somehow my last opening had led to an insecure fastening of the lid. One shake, an unknown number of capsules took flight. They're small, and roll-y and they just went everywhere. I searched for as many as I could, but… they have a food-y aroma, so Dan joined in the hunt (remember, stealer of chairs, and selective obeyer of instructions… the ginger and white dude!) All afternoon he has been bouncing around the sitting room (where I happened to be at the time of said spillage), leaping in the air and then flipping the little capsule (he's into hunting, but only inanimate objects). I'm really praying he doesn't actually eat them, I am not sure I can handle garlic breath from my dog.
