Treat to myself and an unwilling guinea pig

New Toy(s) alert!

I have treated myself to new toys, wiggly tabletop tripod, flash gun (no idea how to use it but I'm sure I'll learn), 50mm lens and other bits and bobs.

So today's blip is not overly exciting as I'm trying to work out how to use this stuff, but let's see what I can do by the weekend.

Albie is an unwilling subject at the best of times so I was amazed to combine a still dog, a flash gun that actually fired when I wanted it to and a focused shot. Marvelous start.
