Dusk, Chicago River

Uncomfortably perched on top of the Chicago Sun-Times building is a Holiday Inn Hotel, its supreme virtue is its proximity to the Chicago River.

This view (taken from the hotel bar) is of the South Branch of the river. The tallest building is indeed tall: it is the Sears Tower, now renamed the Willis Tower, built in 1973 and 442 metres high.
