Full of Eastern Promise.

Having a wander along Cranborne Chase, near the village of Tollard Royal, came across this. Built around 2008, supposed to hide five mobile phone masts, but O2 dropped out ,so the Folly was built anyway. It`s 65 ft high, has a base of Turkish limestone, and is believed to be `modelled`on the Taj Mahal. Anyway, the owner of the land says on a good day you can see the Isle of Wight.

There is a `ha-ha `around it. A Folly has been described as " a structure that is useless and serves no purpose" but helps to have plenty of money to build it.
