Pastel scaffold

The boiler installation yesterday required the use of scaffolding (to fit the flue I think?)
It's still outside - to be dismantled and taken away today they said.
I'm still not venturing out 'cos of my cold, but did open the front door long enough to take this shot.

Re the saga of the new boiler - woke up this morning to temp of 26C according to the thermostat. (79F in old money). Somethings amiss since it should be 22C. We set it to 16C to see if that would make it switch off/down radiators but it's had no effect. So it's been like a Turkish sauna in here!
I've now turned all the radiators themselves down to see if that'll make a difference. Trouble is - despite the fact that they all have fancy knobs marked from 1 to 6, most of our radiators only seem to register two settings - on or off. So I have visions o us having a see-saw heating situation. Turning everything off until it cools down, then needing to turn everything on again 'cos it's so cold.
