Water Sculpture

Water drop collisions are fascinating and incredibly complicated given the large number of variables. Slowly but surely I am getting an understanding of how these things operate. Tonight I have been experimenting with additives in the water. Sounds simple but you have to consider such things as concentration, drop versus container, thickener versus surfactant etc etc. This isn't one of the 'proper' photos I took, but was just the last picture of the night. I have no idea what was in the water at this point but I was getting some weird and wonderful shapes. I quite like it. It looks a bit like a melting figure.
