Ewwwwwww!
DB walks into the house ahead of me in the darkness to make sure that no unwelcome visitors have made themselves comfortable during our absence.
Only thing is, it doesn't have to be dark for the critters to make themselves at home! This one was particularly large. The NZ $2 is about an inch in diameter, so I flicked one in the vicinity of this huntsman. I was a bit freaked out, getting close to it, but it behaved itself and stayed still.
DB then released it outside.
I don't think I'll ever get used to spiders; especially not these massive ones. DB certainly has his work cut out for him.
I'm heading home to NZ tomorrow. I can't wait to see my Cousteau and my friends, but am oh so sad to be leaving my DB.
