Days gone by

Whenever I get let out of Norfolk to travel to our main office in Kew I walk past these two reminders of days gone by.

I'll probably never know why they are where they are - in the front garden of a house next the Kew Gardens station - but that's exactly what imagination is for.

Yesterday I decided the time had come to capture them before they disappear forever (the building is up for sale) so here they are.
