Last year we made a "new tradition" of going to the beach on new years day to blow away the cobwebs from last year, what we didn't factor in was the horrendous torrential rain that we'd have today! We could barely leave the house, it was awful! Instead we had a fun family day and all met up for a lovely NYD dinner at my mums.

This was taken just before bed, using some of the glow sticks he had in his stocking from santa.

We saw in the new year with the little man who has been in the habit of waking around 10.30/11 for only about 20 mins, it's almost like he needs a cuddle of reassurance then goes back down lovely. We took some "phone selfies", listened to the people celebrating in the pouring down rain, then all cuddled up and slept - rock and roll!

Wouldn't have changed it for the world.
