Portobello

First time i went to Portobello was at 9:30pm tonight. After work i decided i might go out with my camera to take a few photographs with the intention of taking something remotely interesting for todays blip. I drove and drove along roads i'd never been before and eventually saw signs suggesting to me that it was Portobello. Further along i noticed a road that just took you right up to what looked like the sea.

Not realising, i stopped the car and walked along only to discover that it was Portobello beach. I've always heard about Portobello beach being quite nice but never really been there and never really knew how to get there but from where i currently live it's pretty easy to get to. I took a few other photographs including one of a feather sitting in the sand but because i've been shooting in RAW recently i'm still trying to get all the settings correct using "Camera RAW" in photoshop and nothing i seem to do turns out right. It's either too dark etc etc.

Second most slightly interesting photograph taken at the beach was this building hiding in the mist. Does anyone know what it is?
