Bosque Fly-Out
At about a half-hour before sunrise, thousands of Sand Hill Cranes decide to leave the safety of their nightly water beds and depart for feeding grounds.
All of a sudden, everyone goes flap-flap-flap and in a few minutes, they're all gone.
They winter here in Bosque del Apache, South of Socorro, NM and spend summers in the arctic...quite a migration.
