Sunshine On My Shoulder

The sun had its hat on today and the Met. Office said only a 20% chance of rain so I escaped The Veelage and headed out in to the Galloway Forest Park. It turned out to be a pleasant afternoon with sunshine for most of it and felt practically spring-like as the sun shone through the mist that was in the trees down on to the forest floor.
All the recent rain had made the waterfalls pretty impressive, here is the one on the Buchan Burn near Glentrool.
Also a nice end to the day as the sun put up an orange glow as it set.
Guess what though, more rain tomorrow !
