Rest

"Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done." Genesis 2:3

This is a picture of my food and drink at my break time today. God gives us an example at the beginning of the Bible about how it is important to have a rest day in the week. It is not good to work every day of the week, we are designed to have a rest. It is difficult as a nurse sometimes to get the much needed rest, including breaks and days off. There is always work that needs doing. But if you do not take your breaks then you are in danger of burning out and making yourself ill. I feel quite strongly in making sure that all the nurses I work with have their breaks and days off, but sometimes I need to remind myself that I need them too!! Make sure you get your breaks as well...
