Had a little go with the infamous new macro lens

Never attempted macro photography before, so it's a bit of a learning curve

Thought this close up of some gorse flowers weren't too bad as a starting effort

Still not sure how people get such awesome closeups of bees and bugs as I can't see that even with a macro lens I could get that much detail, but I am looking forward to life coming back to the garden so that I can get some good close ups of flowers. Watch this space for the results
