Mt. St. Helens

It was so great to come home to blue skies and sunshine after ten days of beautiful weather in Colorado. Mt. St. Helens isn't visible that often and today I caught a little bit of downtown Portland with the Fremont bridge, as well as the gorgeous mountain. I still remember the big eruption of the mountain in 1980. We had ash inches thick covering everything and it was like driving in a thick fog for several days. Today I am grateful to be home for a few days before I embark on my next adventure Thursday!
