Crane Dance

Just before Sunrise the Fog was thick as soup. I heard the Sandhills long before I could see them, waves of them were upon me before I could even get my camera aimed skyward. Most of the shots were of dubious quality and, truth be told, I'm a little tired of Silhouettes, even if they are kind of nice.

This morning I brought my trusty 4ft aluminum ladder with me and was able to shoot above both of the 6ft fences separating me from the Cranes. The light was very "iffy" and the Fog persisted. I did get a couple of shots of Cranes doing their…"This is My little patch of earth, Scram!" dance. Not happy with anything I shot today…I played with this one and…I kind of like it. Hope you do too!
