Having a waggle!

Here is Arthur absorbed in his favourite occupation- waggling the string on his pull along toys. Not a brilliant photo but we wanted to have this action caught on camera because it has been something of a feature of his babyhood!

In other news, Arthur is in disgrace for throwing toys at nursery. From my (now extensive!) reading, I think we can put this down to attention seeking. He has unfortunately recognised that if he throws his toys, he gains immediate attention. The tactic we are using at home seems to be working - when Arthur wants to throw something, we whip out the felt fruit and veg and aim for a bucket. The result has been a peaceful weekend of only positive toy throwing which has been good fun and stress free.

Anyway, we went to the park on the way home from nursery and Arthur went on the slide and swings. He didn't seem to mind getting a wet bottom. Both children napped much of the afternoon allowing me to do a bit of cleaning.
